Issue Position

Somehow New Mexico has become an island of poverty at a time when everyone around us is booming. Arizona is booming. Colorado is booming. Texas is booming. It is my sincere belief that New Mexico has just as much, if not more, to offer than any of these states, but we are continually passed over by businesses and economic opportunity due to 85 years of anti-business policies and legislation. It is time we welcomed business into our state so that we improve the lives of our citizens, stop exporting our youth, and return the right of our people to good jobs and fair wages.
